Apple Intelligence bude v iOS 27, iPadOS 27 a macOS 27 umožňovať výber tretích AI modelov. Externé AI modely budú spúšťať funkcie Apple Intelligence cez Extensions. Extensions budú môcť bežať aj funkcie Writing Tools a Image Playground. Podľa Bloomberga Marka Gurmana bude možné vybrať obľúbený AI model pre rôzne úlohy. Používatelia budú mať aj možnosť vybrať rôzne hlasy Siri pre rôzne AI modely.
